Reformer Pilates Workout
Strength-focused Reformer Pilates workout to push you beyond your limits for maximum results
Twotone is a modern, strength-focused approach to Reformer Pilates. Our 45-minute full-body workouts combine slow, controlled movement with continuous resistance to build strength, muscular endurance and control, without the high impact.

Every class takes place on the Reformer and is designed to make every minute count. Expect focused movement, challenging sequences and carefully curated playlists that keep you connected to the workout from start to finish.

Small-group classes allow our instructors to coach your form, offer adjustments and challenge you at the right level. Whether it's your first class or your hundredth, there's always room to progress.

THE METHOD
Slower = Stronger
Our method is built around one simple principle: slower = stronger.

Instead of rushing through repetitions or relying on momentum, we use slow, controlled movement to keep your muscles working for longer. This principle is known as time under tension, the amount of time your muscles remain actively engaged during an exercise.

The longer your muscles stay under tension, the harder they have to work. By pushing your muscles closer to fatigue, we create the stimulus needed to improve muscular endurance, build lean muscle and develop overall body strength.
THE DETAILS
A Workout That Works Harder
Our Reformer Pilates workouts combine proven training principles with the unique resistance of the Reformer to challenge your body in all the right ways.
Time Under Tention
By slowing down and removing momentum, your muscles stay engaged for longer, creating the stimulus needed to build lean muscle and strenght.
Continuous Resistance
The Reformer adds another dimension to the workout: resistance. Its adjustable spring system creates continuous resistance throughout each movement, challenging your muscles. Combined with our slow tempo, even familiar exercises such as lunges become significantly more demanding.
Low-impact, High-intensity
Our strength-focused approach creates intensity through resistance and control.challenge
your muscles while keeping unnecessary impact on your joints to a minimum.
The Afterburn
Following challenging workout, your body uses energy as it recovers. A process known as EPOC. During recovery, your body works to restore itself and repair the muscle, which requires energy beyond the workout itself. While our focus isn’t simply to burn calories. It’s to create a workout that makes every minute count.

PROGRESSIVE PROGRAMMING
Never The Same Workout
Getting stronger requires your body to keep being challenged. That’s why every Twotone class combines our core training principles with progressive programming, different movement patterns and carefully selected Reformer resistance.

Our instructors continuously find ways to progress exercises as you get stronger, while offering adjustments when you need them.

Combined with energising playlists and dynamic sequences, this keeps every workout challenging, motivating and never the same twice.
